party_of_one Newcomer Thread starter I have been doing this by myself for about five months. I set a length, I lock up, I stick to it. There is nobody holding anything and no rules that came from anyone but me.
Every time I read this board I feel slightly ridiculous, because most posts assume a second person. When I am honest about it, what I am doing is making a rule and then obeying myself, which sounds like something I could describe as any other kind of self discipline and not tell anyone about.
Are there people here doing it solo long term? Does it hold up, or is the whole thing only really load bearing when someone else is involved?
