I have two happygo devices in different sizes, featuring base rings of 45mm and 50mm. The 50mm ring is easy to slip out of, so I usually prefer the 45mm. For what it’s worth, I can fit most of a single finger between my scrotum and the ring. I’ve noticed others managing full erections with just the base ring attached (the cage part detached), but I find that challenging for myself. At times, it feels like my penis is straining to expand, and I can sometimes see veins—or perhaps erectile tissue—bulge out a bit. This bulging might persist even after the erection subsides. It doesn’t necessarily hurt, but it just doesn’t feel right. Could this indicate that my base ring is too tight? I only tried wearing just the ring because I wanted to edge without feeling restricted by the device itself. With the full device on (for both 45mm and 50mm cage lengths), these issues disappear. While the device is designed to prevent erections, so using it with just the base ring isn’t its primary purpose, I haven’t found many others discussing this specific concern. I won’t be masturbating without removing the entire device from now on, but I’m a bit hesitant to put it back on. It’s comfortable when worn as intended, yet this experience makes me wonder if the ring is too small for safety. Does anyone have advice or experience regarding this?
