My wife has noticed that her odd jobs get tackled immediately now, and this shift has really solidified over the past six months. Initially, locking up happened once or maybe twice a month. Now, it kicks off every Wednesday, building anticipation through to the weekend with roughly a 50/50 shot of release on Sunday; if not, I roll into the following week.
Sometime this month, the dynamic flipped from being locked as a reward for me to being unlocked as a treat. The HT can comfortably stay on for about two weeks before things get chafy, so she’s looking for something that lasts at least a month long-term. My wife started out vanilla and just treating it as a bit of fun, but now she’s asking how long we can stretch between releases and even jokingly suggesting Christmas might be our target.
