not_the_dishes Newcomer Thread starter About two months ago my partner started linking the arrangement to jobs around the flat. Do the kitchen properly and there is a reward at the weekend, that sort of thing. She is enjoying it a lot.
I have gone off both things. I now resent the washing up in a way I did not before, and the dynamic has started to feel like a performance review. I have not said anything because she is having fun and because saying I do not want to be motivated to do chores sounds exactly like someone who does not want to do chores.
Is this a normal thing people do? Am I being precious about it?
