Hello everyone, Although there is already a discussion thread dedicated to the HT3 Nano, my experience has been just slightly different enough for me to start this new one. I have been using the HT2 Small happily for about six months without any issues. If I had to pick one complaint, it would be that the tube length could be shorter (since I am a “grower”). My approach is to keep things as restrictive as possible, stopping erections before they even start thinking about happening. So, when news of the new Nano model came out, I ordered it without hesitation. It took some time finding an EU supplier and waiting for stock replenishment, but eventually, I got my hands on one. After wearing it non-stop (24/7) for a week here are my thoughts: The Pros:
- In my specific case - the size is spot on
- Extremely stealthy; you barely notice it’s there.
- Very easy to clean. The Cons:
- Unlike other models, this isn’t really a “tube” but more of a “shell” enveloping the penis with a small pocket for the glans. I am not sure why they chose that design choice. However, this brings two consequences: (1) There are gaps on either side where the skin can get pinched against the edges. For me, this occurs multiple times daily, particularly when sitting around all day long. (2) The gap between the ring and the shell’s rim is quite large. To me, this makes the device largely ineffective because one of my testicles keeps slipping through (and I am using the small 36mm ring).
- The rings are practically useless with the Nano. Although specifications claim a 36mm diameter, they are actually much larger than stated. Additionally, their shape is more oval-like and too wide. That same ring works fine on the v2 Small model (which uses a tube design), but due to the Nano’s “open space” construction, the ring needs to be significantly smaller—or rather narrower.
- The edges at the base of the MagicLock connection to the ring are razor-sharp. They can dig into your skin; they did so for me. I realize this is an easy fix with a file, but when you spend 200 EUR on a plastic device, you expect decent quality control and don’t want to get busy doing DIY repairs. My conclusion: The Nano feels like overpriced junk. It won’t be completely wasted if they release new rings suited for the Nano’s design. Until then - I will continue wearing my Small model.
