Early on in my journey, I picked up some great tips, including the idea of applying lube around the device’s ring. It consistently boosted comfort by minimizing pinching and allowing the skin to glide more freely down there. Doing it once or twice daily worked perfectly. More lately, now that I’ve found a cage with exceptional comfort, I started neglecting the lube and realized I hadn’t used it—or really needed it—for weeks. What’s going on? Is my skin adapting? Is it the wide base ring of this super-comfy model that gently holds the skin in place without moving much? Or is it because summer has arrived here, keeping things warm and relaxed? Maybe just a fortunate period I’m experiencing. We’ll see. For now, being comfortable enough to skip lube is definitely a plus.
