I traveled for business today without my wife/KH. She let me take off the cage before passing through security, then put it back on after. I snapped a photo and sent it over to verify. For the return trip, I’ll do the same: unlock before security and re-lock once inside (which obviously means she handed me the key). The device was in my carry-on bag, which went unexamined. I’m not entirely sure how things would have gone if they had searched and discovered it.
