I find myself locked once more. In my world, there is no set date for release. My Keyholder simply tells me to put the device on, and after that, it goes without saying when—and if—it comes off. That can be tricky, especially during the first few days of wear. Adjustment is always a hurdle; the skin remains sensitive until it calluses enough for the device to feel comfortable. It’s a process that requires patience.

Within our Female-Led Relationship (FLR), there is an understanding: any whining, complaining, or asking for removal results in punishment. This can range from spanking to being locked away entirely. Needless to say, but our relationship has never been vanilla. We started quite innocently, without any intention of incorporating BDSM into our dynamic, yet now it cannot function without it.

My device is a 18a crafted by Ms. Lori. I was encouraged to get a PA piercing after experimenting with one of those plastic CB6000 models; the piercing ensures the device never gets pulled off unexpectedly. We have been living this lifestyle for years, and my Lori device has been on me for nearly five, coming on and off several times over that period. Only a few removals were due to significant discomfort or pain.

There are also moments when my Keyholder feels frustrated enough to unlock me, deciding it serves as punishment in itself rather than relief. In our relationship, she acknowledges the burden of key holding, particularly if I am acting like a whiny little pain. When she instructs me to wear the device, I must not ask for removal unless the pain becomes dangerously unbearable. Only then do I speak up, undergoing an inspection before any possible release from the cage.

Regarding the device itself: it is indeed a 18a by Ms. Lori, who makes excellent custom steel devices via mail order. It takes time and effort through this process, but it’s worth waiting for if you truly want one—though be careful what you wish for! My unit weighs about 12 oz., made of polished 316L stainless steel (which resists rust better) and secured by two hex bolts.

One bolt locks a pin through my piercing to prevent pullout without causing painful, permanent injury. The other secures the cage to the base ring. These custom screws cannot be replicated easily; they are countersunk slightly to prevent manipulation. Once tightened, they hold as effectively—if not more so—than any traditional lock found elsewhere. Because they are custom, you won’t find a standard tool in a hardware store for them, and they strip easily if tampered with improperly.

This happened to me once when I was too eager and careless during removal. I had to use a drill and specialized bits to carefully extract the stripped screw so I could remove the device without destroying it. In that moment, as the screw went bad and I remained trapped in something that required serious effort beyond normal routine to open, I felt a rush realizing my chastity might be permanent. The sensation was so intense I actually orgasmed spontaneously, with no physical stimulation other than the threat of being stuck. This occurred right before my Keyholder’s eyes; she almost couldn’t believe what she saw.

Removing stripped screws isn’t easy and isn’t for the faint of heart regarding mechanical tasks. It takes a skilled hand that understands the material. If there is one downside to Lori devices, it is precisely this: the screws can screw you! The weight is sometimes heavy, but if fitted correctly, it’s manageable.

So, I am locked again. My only hope for release now lies in good behavior and compliance. However, I usually expect plenty of playtime while wearing it, especially if I behave well. If I cum while chaste, my Keyholder enjoys watching me experience such twisted pleasure and doesn’t mind because the days following serve as a constant, painful reminder that I am her slave in chastity—a role she loves.

I don’t mind the pain too much, though lately I’ve been less inclined to force an orgasm since it can be difficult. What I enjoy most is seeing her derive pleasure from it. Watching her arch her back and shudder with ecstasy as I assist her brings such a beautiful smile to her face. I feel humbled by my chastity, waiting for long periods before she rewards me in kind. It has truly elevated our communication and love.

Chastity is painful and cumbersome, but the emotional rewards alone make it worthwhile.

Just as quickly as things seem clear, decisive, and ritualistic, they are not. The monthly menstrual cycle correlates directly with a lack of concern for our little agreement. In fact, it nearly kills the dynamic. We tend to take this lifestyle seriously, keeping chastity central to it. But when she suffers through her period, we both suffer because of it. Her mood sours due to intense cramping and the constant need for hygiene maintenance, which drags my own mood down with it. It’s hard to avoid. Unless there is significant physical space between us, the effect persists. Because this ties into hormones and cycles, even distance might not fully stop disruption to our day-to-day expectations—communication is key! That’s what everyone tells me. However, when someone simply isn’t in the mood, communication becomes nearly impossible. It takes great effort to overcome the ongoing hormonal onslaught of a woman’s cycle. I know better than to complain or be too much of a 'dick,' yet the torrent of testosterone I currently deal with dominates my inner monologue. Some things agitate me intensely until I can no longer contain my sarcasm. I press on minor issues that might have been handled after her cycle, and start trouble where I shouldn’t. It’s not intentional; it is reactionary and unhinged. I need to get a handle on this. No single thing in the world puts me more firmly into my 'man-space' than her monthly friend... though I do my best to empathize. No matter what level of understanding or hormonal equivalence we reach, it remains hard to truly understand each other fully. We had a tiff recently. It ended with her handing over the key to the device. It wasn’t a bad fight, nor about anything crucial. It just happened—two humans not disagreeing per se, but simply unhappy for that moment—and everything surrounding our sex life—the 'expectations,' obligations, and commitment—all went to hell in that instant. Instead of stopping to think, I removed the device myself. Now we shall see what happens next.
