“I need to pose this question in a ‘safe space’ because I’m puzzled by the emotions I’m experiencing. A while back, I tried wearing a cage for several weeks (which I mentioned elsewhere), but I stopped for various reasons. Now, I’ve been locked away for nearly a month in an authentic Holy Trainer Nub and it feels like my natural state. The adjustment has been smooth, and I don’t want to go without the device. When I remove it for cleaning, touching myself directly feels unnatural, so I rush to put the cage back on. This sensation conflicts with my strict Baptist background, yet it is genuine. Is it the thrill of a hidden ‘kink’? Or perhaps an unexplored submissive nature? The cage hasn’t been a major topic between me and my wife; she simply tolerates it while I wear it now, 700 miles away on a long-term contract. Am I doing this out of a sense of fidelity? She doesn’t hold the key, so I am self-locked, and I enjoy that arrangement. But why do I feel this way?
