I have to confess that I’m growing fonder of my cb6000 with each wear, yet I’ve started realizing it might not be the perfect fit for me. Like the birdlocked neo which was also a pleasure, I find its time is up fairly quickly because of bruising, swelling, or just general hygiene concerns. Since I lock myself in, I’m really eager for a long-term option to help with my tendency—being single and solitary brings certain challenges… I want to steer clear of piercings and hope there’s a practical trapped ball design that works for me. The mm jailbird is currently high on my list, though I haven’t ordered yet. I own some sizing rings and am using the cb6000 at what seems like the right measurement. While I’m interested in the pansytart measuring system, being uncut means I’m not entirely certain about the exact diameter and length I’ve calculated before. The creeping back issue happened with my previous cb6000 but is less of a problem now. I’m debating between 35mm or 38mm jailbird diameters, perhaps with a length of 2” or 2.25”. I probably will ask for a modification that adds guide posts to reduce twisting and let me attach a waist cable that can be locked.
Regarding my current setup, being uncut presents the foreskin challenge—when highly aroused, the foreskin does come forward.. And since it’s hyper-sensitive, it definitely tempts release without actual ejaculation. I wonder if an open jailbird design will truly keep wandering hands at bay, but I hope pansytart is correct in thinking a wider, shorter length stops any misbehavior while satisfying the urge. I’m also looking at steelworxx steelheart / zero ultra or cs500 models, though I’m less sure they’d last as well long-term. At least with the jailbird, if it’s not 100% preventitive, that just means fewer reasons to take it off!
