While browsing, I see statuses or profiles claiming “8 months locked,” “3 years caged and counting,” or “locked one week.” However, reading through the related posts reveals nuances like “released this week, back in next Friday,” “free while friends are visiting,” and “I take it off at night.”
I might be a bit of a purist: if you’re out for anything other than hygiene purposes, I don’t consider that locked—the counter resets. It seems more accurate to say something like “under Mistress control for 3 years” or “locked for 7 days, with a new lock-up starting Friday.”
Of course, everyone acknowledges exceptions. For example, someone might be released briefly for teasing or torment stroking. If they avoid touching themselves and are put back in without any type of orgasm, I still count them as locked.
