Wearing my birdlock hasn’t yielded much progress for me, so my wife and I have opted to live as though I am permanently locked. The longest stretch without an orgasm that I’ve managed is 18 days. After discussing it, we agreed on a duration just under seven weeks, concluding on our ninth wedding anniversary. The initial four weeks went quite smoothly; I suspect this was because I teased myself MULTIPLE times each day. My wife claims she had no clue and insists I really shouldn’t be doing that. Consequently, the past week has felt very different—more sexually charged and attentive of her. My showers are shorter now too, dropping from 20-25 minutes since I’m not bringing myself to climax six to ten times or more before getting in. Here I am on day 36, and I’m quite pleased with how things are going. I hope this same discipline translates to other parts of my life, such as working out and shedding pounds. I understand that if I want to cheat by touching myself, it’s a deliberate choice, but right now I choose not to. I don’t fully grasp why others who wear devices seem so eager to escape. Maybe being free from the physical constraint makes it easier for me, but again, it really is a conscious decision.
