I shared a thought in my journal section - Titles and limits / ideas - regarding the challenge of picking an appropriate title for my girlfriend when she takes on a dominant or commanding role. I elaborated more in that post, but essentially, I favor titles like ‘Mistress’ or ‘Miss’. However, I suspect she might prefer something with a slightly softer, prettier sound while retaining that same authoritative tone.
We’ve considered other standard options such as Goddess and Princess, yet those didn’t quite feel natural to her either.
Do you have any ideas? Also, what methods do you use to test these names? Since she comes from a vanilla background, she might be somewhat reserved about adopting them. When you were beginning your journey, did you find effective ways to gauge how such titles sit with someone?
