I’m not entirely certain this is the correct spot… though honestly, I am unsure where else it might belong. My inflatable plug has unfortunately suffered a hose failure right at the point of entry into its base. My plan was to try filling it with something that will cure and turn it into a solid unit. But what should be used? I have been considering bathroom silicone sealant… It takes several weeks to dry, but since it is so thick, can I get it to flow and distribute evenly? If I manage that, it will remain semi-flexible too, which would be great. Does anyone have other suggestions? Has anyone attempted something similar?
