Introductions discussion

Alright, where do I start? I’ll begin by sharing two things: I’m new to this lifestyle and younger than most who decide to pursue it. I am 22 years old. My partner/pet is 27 and also fresh to the scene. We’ve both been interested in the idea for some time now. We actually connected online and discussed it before really knowing much about each other otherwise. Back then, I didn’t expect anything serious to come of it, but we turned out to “click” well on a personal level as well as sexually. So, I want to be his keyholder; he has ordered a custom device and received a piercing. I suppose I’m worried I’ve taken on more than I can handle. Is that normal? I haven’t been especially dominant in the past. My concern is whether I am suited for it at all. Specifically, I worry that my needs might be too frequent or intense for this lifestyle to function smoothly. For instance, I have always required plenty of kissing, cuddling, and feeling secure. Can those needs fit into a dynamic like this? It seems I often let people sleep with me (even when I don’t really want it) just to avoid rejection. How do I transition from that pattern to becoming a chastity keyholder? Is it even feasible? I hope I’m not coming across as completely absurd. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you.
