Introductions discussion

I stumbled upon the community not long ago and, after browsing for a bit, decided to join up and say hello. I’ve had a strong interest in tease & denial and chastity for years, but only recently brought it up with my wife last summer. Her reaction ranges from indifferent to mildly curious. We experimented with it two or three times over periods of about a week, but once the school year began (she’s pursuing graduate studies), she became too occupied and stressed to make time for me. (The only downside is the rear-facing guide pins; the CB-6000 looked too pricey compared to the sale price of the CB-3000.) My wife isn’t quite as enthusiastic. Even though she went along with me over the summer, she thinks using physical devices seems a bit strange and worries I might hurt myself somehow. I’ve promised her I’m being VERY careful because I don’t want to cause any harm either! On the whole, I’m happy with how quickly I found a decently comfortable fit. Since I wear it nearly all day, I take it off at least once daily to inspect things and ensure no sore spots are developing. So far, everything is going well. Looking forward, I’ll likely need to manage my own games since my wife will be too busy to act as an effective key holder for me specifically. By that, I mean she could simply keep the keys and only unlock me when she has the time, energy, and desire for sex—I’d be lucky to get out once or twice a month then. But I prefer a more hands-on approach (literally), where my partner frequently unlocks and teases me, keeping me guessing whether this will be the moment I finally cum or if it’ll just be another ruined orgasm or total denial before back into the cage. Naturally, that style of play is hard to do alone, so I’m considering coding a custom version of Time Lock (I work as a computer programmer) and adjusting it for my specific needs. If anyone has tips on being your own key holder, please share them! Also, I need recommendations for an emergency key holder. I want something easy to access quickly when necessary but that also discourages casual use; otherwise, locking up the primary key becomes pointless.
