Introductions discussion

I’ve stumbled upon this place a few times through the years but never became a member. My spouse and I felt that our dynamic was slipping again with me holding the reins, so we decided it made more sense for her to take control. We swapped roles once more. She’s become the dominant one while I play the submissive role. She is resolved to begin with three months of being locked up to ensure the mindset shift really takes hold—I assume this because I typically get grumpy and indifferent after just a couple of weeks, have a rough night, and call it quits. Naturally, my feelings are mixed about all this. I truly believe that on balance, it is best for us in the long term; I do know it deep down. Buuuut I crave immediate rewards. My severe ADHD amplifies that need. Today marks the final day of our first complete week together in this arrangement. She barely wants to remove it even for cleaning duties, so I’ve become quite adept at using a qtip and shampoo, and I think I’ve actually discovered how to stay smelling fresh without taking the cage off. Anyway, greetings again! I’m eager to chat with folks here about walking that “less traveled path.”
