I bring this up because when I first started wearing my cage, I would wake up frequently during the initial week or two. Does your body eventually learn to ignore that discomfort while you sleep?
I discovered that when nocturnal erections hit and rouse me, it takes quite a bit of effort for them to subside. Usually, I have to get out of bed and pace around a little. These erections don’t just fade away if I stay still in bed; the dull, throbbing mild pain builds up from blood flow issues as well as the cage ring functioning like a cock ring which actually aids erection maintenance. For normal pre-sleep erections while lying down, I can distract myself with non-arousing thoughts and they go away even though I’m caged.
Obviously, when a night-time erection happens, things might feel slightly cooler than usual or perhaps look a bit darker due to blood loss from the area. My main worry is how long these nocturnal erections last and whether they cause any harm to my testicles over time. I’ve noticed that even taking just a few days off without my cage seems to “reset” my tolerance for sleeping with it on. For instance, my wife locked me up for nearly five weeks straight once, then we went on vacation and I got a six-day break from the device. When we returned home, it felt like I had never worn it at all—meaning night-time wakings happening anywhere between half a dozen to twelve times per night.
What has been your experience with this?
