I’ve used this term for quite a while now. It’s funny how, even after all these years, people still reach out to ask what I mean whenever I bring it up here. This post is about the process of breaking your male sub into chastity. To summarize; I stumbled upon it completely by chance not long after my man brought male chastity into our dynamic. We were “experimenting” with it. He wore it sometimes, telling me how long he should keep it on and when to unlock him. It was his thing for a while, and I just went along with the flow. Then an incident happened (totally separate from chastity) that shifted things around. He did something that really irritated me. As a result, I decided not to unlock him even though we had agreed he would be. I kept him locked up despite his complaints. Since it wasn’t hurting him physically, I just left him there. I told him I didn’t want any begging or whining; if he did either of those things, I’d extend the time he spent in the cage. He realized I was serious and stopped complaining. After he finished whatever task we had set, I kept him locked for another week. By then, it had been nearly a month, and I think during that last week is when I really noticed the shift in our dynamic. That’s when my interest kicked in; it became more of my game than his. I know many others who have tried this approach and seen similar results to varying degrees. I’d recommend it to any new keyholder. It’s up to each individual to decide when to unlock him, but remember that he needs to be pushed beyond his comfort zone and control. It’s a bit like the traditional practice of breaking in a horse so it is ready to accept a rider. And this process will change the dynamic of your game.

Yes, I think that "just outside his comfort zone" part is crucial. Plus there's an element of surprise - if he doesn't know when release is coming, he just has to get on with behaving appropriately.
