A bit of backstory: my wife asked me to remain chaste permanently a few months ago, right after our son was born. I had already been in chastity for four months by then and made it to about seven before falling off the wagon during the second week of October.
Until recently, she kept control of the keys because she wanted my chastity to be an act I chose for her rather than something imposed upon me. However, back in that same October fortnight, I developed a strong urge for PIV sex. I removed my cage temporarily and started pushing for intercourse with my wife. Being fairly submissive, she eventually gave in after a few days.
Afterward, I felt foolish while she felt betrayed. She is now more determined than ever to make the arrangement permanent. We are still figuring out how to manage access to the keys so I cannot simply decide to stop being chaste at will. Since I travel three or four days a week for work and my cage becomes quite smelly after two days without washing, I always carry a key with me to clean it every morning in the shower.
If I am going to keep my promise of permanent chastity and avoid another relapse, I need something better suited for long-term wear. Something that can stay on for weeks, months, or even years if possible while maintaining good hygiene.
I am also interested in piercings. They intimidate me a bit, but I see how valuable they could be for success in permanent chastity. The frenum piercing looks the most appealing to me, though I have read that people often struggle with them due to migration and eventual tearing. I dislike the idea of piercing through into my urethra, so the PA (perineal artery) option is less attractive despite being common and successful.
