I’ve finally scraped together the money to buy it and plan to place the order tonight. Dietmar confirmed that an inner diameter of 31.5mm is doable, which should be a nearly perfect fit—much tighter than my current Pet Trap (which I measured at over 36mm, significantly larger than the expected 1-3/8”). My main hesitation right now is the length. Although my existing Pet Trap seems just about right in this regard, opinions here are divided on whether to go shorter or longer.
At a length of 3-1/2”, when I’m erect, my glans hangs well out past the back of the trap, and I have very saggy testicles. Ideally, I want a double cock ring base setup—I know MM can provide these—but I really prefer the security and comfort of a fully enclosing tube with that smaller diameter. For me, there’s an advantage to a longer tube because it encloses more of the shaft.
My flaccid measurement is exactly 100mm (about 4”), so a 3-1/2” Pet Trap tube with a 1/2” base gap feels almost ideal. However, I’m unsure how to convey this to Dietmar in terms of measuring advice. Does he count the curve length when stating the device’s total length, or is it the straight horizontal distance from the body?
I am getting nervous about the smaller diameter, so I measured my circumference at a point where I can comfortably fit around the head without pinching: 100mm. Dividing by 3.14 gives me roughly 31.5mm with a millimeter or two of wiggle room. I also tested sequentially smaller O-rings to find the smallest one I could wear overnight; I experienced some numbness with a 1-1/8” ring but not with a 1-1/2” (which is how I sized up for my current Pet Trap). Still, it’s becoming clear that a tighter diameter serves as a better disincentive to orgasm.
Well, off I go. My wife probably thinks I’m mad as I run in and out of the bathroom four or five times tonight re-measuring everything. Wish me luck!:D
