The cage keeps waking me up at night, any fixes?

Wearing during the day is fine, but nights are rough. I keep waking up uncomfortable when I get hard in my sleep, and some mornings I feel like I have barely rested at all.

Is this just something that settles with time, or is it a sign my fit is off? I do not want to give up on continuous wear, but I also cannot function on broken sleep. What helped you get through the first few weeks of sleeping in it?

Some of this settles as your body gets used to it, usually within a couple of weeks. But persistent pain, as opposed to a brief wake up, can mean the ring is too small or the cage is too short. If your mornings are painful rather than just annoying, revisit your fit before you try to push through it.

The first fortnight was the worst for me and then my sleep mostly recovered. Things that helped, a slightly larger ring at night, keeping the room cooler, and not drinking a lot right before bed. If the broken sleep drags on past a few weeks though, take a night off. Rest matters more than an unbroken streak.
