I haven’t seen this mentioned yet, but I just came across the thread:
It discusses a study from 2003 that tracked testosterone levels in (28) men following their final ejaculation. The results showed that by day 7, levels had risen to 45% above baseline before settling back down without any further regular variation over the observed 16-day period. This seems to support the general view that men experiencing chastity tend to feel a surge in libido roughly between seven and ten days later. I suppose they might struggle to find enough volunteers for longer-term studies lasting months or even a year!
