I’m curious about when others remove their devices. I don’t mean taking them off for teasing or a release, but more like during family gatherings, vacations, and so on.
My fiancée (who is also my keyholder) and I are marrying next summer—nine months from now! She plans to abstain from sex until the wedding and believes I shouldn’t get any release before then. We’ve gone as long as 10 days at a time previously, so this is quite a leap and feels a bit daunting. Because of her stance, I’ll be locked in my belt most of the time, but we’re trying to determine when it’s necessary to remove it. Scenarios like visiting relatives, mountain biking, skiing, and music festivals are what she has in mind.
On a side note, she wasn’t previously keen on chastity and found it strange. However, with her desire to wait until marriage, she sees the potential for romance in waiting out and doesn’t object to wearing the belt during that time. So my wish is coming true; now I understand what ‘be careful what you wish for’ means. It’s only been 48 hours so far, but I believe she is serious about this.
