S_, my keyholder, is a straight married woman while I’m ‘seeing’ a lesbian. Well, not exactly seeing her. Last night though, I took out a gal I’ve known for years to dinner. I was hungry and like having female company with my food; it doesn’t matter if nothing comes of the relationship. Totally spontaneous really. We were sitting at the bar when I joked about hoisting her over my shoulder to take her home for dinner, and she decided to walk back to my truck instead. Once we got there, I told her she had a new role. She’s now the go-to girl whenever I want to treat someone else without expecting anything in return. She doesn’t realize how perfect this setup is for me. I get to enjoy having an attractive woman around, make at least some people envious, eat my meal, and all of that without worrying about sparks flying or needing to explain my situation. On a slightly less bizarre note: S_ mentioned she has a surprise waiting for me on Wednesday. It marks the 4-week anniversary of when I handed over the keys. Knowing her personality though, ‘surprise’ doesn’t necessarily mean I’m getting them back. She might just hand me a cigar and tell me that the real news is I won’t be released for another month. She’s an evil bitch (she calls herself one, lets me call her one too, so don’t take it as disrespect), and honestly? I love that about her.
