What mental phases occur while locked in? From my understanding, men in chastity experience emotional shifts during their confinement. The specific stages depend on personal factors like individual temperament, duration of the lockup, and how long they’ve been practicing. These are the key stages I recognize, listed chronologically:
- Thrill - begins prior to locking and lasts two to four weeks post-engagement
- Desperation - arises when it truly sinks in that confinement is real and suffering has begun
- Resentment - follows closely behind Desperation as control slips away and true subjection to the Keyholder sets in
- Peaceful acceptance - arrives when bodily sensations settle into a new normal
- Fear of Release - emerges when there’s pride in having achieved encagement, it becomes routine, and feelings stabilize
- Abandonment - happens once free from confinement after the lockup period ends. Beginners may feel relief mixed with apprehension (perhaps positive anxiety) about repeating the process. Experienced chastity practitioners often feel a sense of loss; their accomplishment resets to zero, freedom feels unnatural, orgasm brings negative emotions, and they might feel like cheaters. Have you observed other phases during one cycle - from free to caged back to free?
Note: lol… I pronounce ‘encagement’ an official word. Haha! It refers to the active period of being locked up. It can also describe a group lockup situation. Usage examples: ‘My sub is encaged to me’ or ‘The encagement phase has helped my sub become his best self.’
