Chastity and orgasm denial discussion

@L-u-c-y posted a really solid article about ‘Did the Victorians get it right?’ on that community page we reference. It highlights Victorian studies showing how men fare poorly when they indulge in this habit. What I find particularly interesting, and which isn’t highlighted much in the piece, is why these practices impact males one way while having the exact opposite effect on females? Is it physiological or emotional? Or perhaps does higher volume female sexual arousal produce more positive energy than male arousal? During my prime (and by that I mean really going back), I remember post-coital energy for myself as being ‘in my boots,’ whereas my wife’s was through the roof. The Mistress Lucy asks; if Victorian men had access to chastity devices, what wonders of the world would exist today? Well, I think another paradigm fits right in with that idea: a Matriarchal Society combined with males wearing chastity gear? Who knows!
