Last night I spent some time watching AGT with my wife. It looked like the contestants were performing for the judges. I arrived just as a young man finished his song. The panel picked apart his performance, noting that his music sounded more like karaoke than original artistry. Simon wanted to know if he had anything truly unique in him. He said yes and then delivered a country tune accompanied only by his guitar and mic. Three out of four judges were sufficiently impressed and voted “yes,” securing his spot. What caught my eye was the key dangling from a string around the singer’s neck. Nobody mentioned it, but I thought it seemed peculiar. Did anyone else catch that act or notice the key? Any insights? Thanks.
