My idea is that the silver chain passes through the real key itself, and the pendant locks into position by sliding inside it. This offers some discretion while letting her wear both the key around her neck and a customizable pendant of her choice. Does anyone know a jeweler who can craft something like this? Or another question: what does your key holder use to hold your key? I like the concept of an anklet for winter, but since she wears many skirts in summer, something discreet would be necessary. More than one person at her office understands what the key signifies. We aren’t quite ready to be outed just yet, so a discrete method of holding the key—whether it’s an anklet or necklace—is ideal. Any suggestions?
