Hello everyone, I’ve been around for a while but this is my first post.:) I’d like to share a quick review of Mike’s Spikes (a variant of the Kali’s Teeth Bracelet) available at JT’s Stockroom. My fiancée and I were searching for a straightforward yet functional chastity device meant for long-term use. Our focus is mainly on preventing or controlling masturbation rather than prolonged orgasm denial (though LTOD remains an option if she wants it), so we needed something that fit that role well. We own several devices, each with their strengths and weaknesses, including the MCD from Club Femme. I really appreciated how simple, well-made, and compact that specific device was, but I felt the pain wasn’t quite strong enough to stop me from masturbating to completion (as another reviewer mentioned, the discomfort actually made my orgasm feel EXTRA intense). To fix this, I removed one row of spikes to tighten it up, which seemed to help. But back on topic… When Mike’s Spikes went on sale (it’s still running through the holidays), we thought “why not?”. Even if nothing else, it would be a fun addition for our sessions or whenever my fiancée decided to punish me. Upon receiving and opening it, I was initially surprised by how large and heavy it is. This isn’t a subtle piece! It’s a medieval CBT/chastity gadget that looks great as a dungeon accessory. One feature that caught my eye most was the spike adjustability. You can use an Allen wrench of the right size to change the length of the included (blunt) spikes or swap them for optional sharper ones, which I also bought at the same time (I wasn’t brave enough to try those yet!). Out of the box, the spikes were set so their tops sat flush with the device’s surface. With a few more turns of the wrench, you can push them in slightly further, making them longer on the inside and narrowing the internal diameter. I tried it on and was pleasantly surprised by the feel. The only issue is that I have a “grower” build; while my underwear supported it well enough, it tended to slide down my flaccid shaft when unsupported (this thing is fairly heavy!). So I took the wrench out again, lengthened the spikes just a little bit, and voila! Problem solved. No more sliding. Next test: How does it feel during an erection? While soft, you can definitely feel its weight. Yes, it’s bulky, but manageable under clothes without being uncomfortable. It looks like something is in your pocket (pun intended). So I tried to get hard. Yeah, that wasn’t a great idea. The spikes do an excellent job of making you forget about masturbating…and these are the blunt ones! I only reached partial erection before deciding not to push it further. The pain warning seems to follow a green light-yellow light-red light pattern. That said, the spikes didn’t pierce my shaft, though they left marks that would probably bruise if you keep pushing your luck. After sleeping surprisingly well in it (my night erections were only half as intense with this on), I got up and decided to “double check” whether I could masturbate while wearing it. Lesson learned. There’s no way I’m getting off without a lot of crying, possibly even passing out. Oh, if you do manage to jerk off while the device is on, you’ll remember your mistake after you go soft and likely after removing it. After a solid 24-hour evaluation period, I handed over the key along with any suitable wrenches for adjusting the spikes and sent my fiancée off to work. Summary: Fit: Might slide if you’re a grower, but adjustable enough to prevent that. Comfort: No worse than other devices I’ve worn.
