I am fairly sure this topic has come up here before, though I couldn’t locate the specific thread. Although my KH holds control of the key to my cage, I do need an emergency key that stays with me while out in public. If I find myself at work and get into a situation where I must remove the cage, I cannot risk being stuck without it. I considered wrapping a spare key in paper, having my KH sign it, and sealing the package with packing tape. This might work well because if I open the wrapper to use the key, her signature will be broken. Does anyone have other good methods for keeping an emergency key accessible while clearly showing my KH whether or not it was used? Thanks for all your suggestions!
