Some of you might have been tracking my frustrating journey with chastity. I’ve experimented with several tube-based methods, but they all failed due to bruising, chafing, or general discomfort. The birdlocked device didn’t work for me either, for multiple reasons. I don’t want to waste money on gear that doesn’t perform well or is too impractical. A trapped ball design won’t suit my anatomy; if I can get it on, I can definitely take it off because my genitals are highly flexible—I’m quite the contortionist in that region. Unless I go for a piercing with something like Lori’s device or MM style, possibly combined with a full belt, I’ll struggle. Even those designs often fail practically.
Looking back at my situation, here are my specific requirements:
Security: A locking mechanism isn’t essential. What matters is that the device stays put unless someone bothers to take it out and put it back in. It needs to stay on during moments of weakness when I’m most likely to seek an orgasm.
Comfort / Safety: Flat-ended tube devices cut into my skin, so the end must be rounded and not restrict circulation. It has to be comfortable enough for sleeping and free from chafing. Long-term wear is a must.
Orgasm / Arousal: I don’t need total inability to orgasm; rather, the experience shouldn’t be pleasant while still allowing near-maximum arousal levels. This likely requires fine-tuning adjustments.

These come in many sizes and thicknesses and are widely available at hardware stores. Best of all, their sizing uses 1/16” increments. I selected the thickest option—a donut-style O-ring measuring 1/8” thick. The rounded edge rolls easily onto the penis without cutting into the skin.
Jackpot! A single ring doesn’t fully stop an erection but constricts blood flow in one area. Adding multiple rings works very well. After testing various sizes, I discovered that using three 1-inch inner diameter (I.D.) rings plus one 1-1/6” I.D. ring near the tip effectively prevents orgasm—or makes it so painful as to be useless (I tried aborting an orgasm by applying manual pressure to the perineum and controlling pelvic floor muscles, which is a more advanced technique).
Currently, the 1-inch ring near the corona feels tight because of soreness from testing another method (a vinyl tube that hurt significantly during insertion). The second 1-inch ring further back causes slight priapism-like discomfort. Sleeping overnight with this setup under the corona was comfortable, though morning erections were quite painful due to existing soreness.
Still, it works. I plan to add more rings and slightly increase their diameter as they move toward the base of the penis. This distributes compression evenly, creating a pleasant “hugging” feel without blocking blood flow. It also makes removal slower and more effortful, discouraging take-out.
The device isn’t locked in place. I tried adding a scrotum ring with locks connecting the penile rings to it, but it was uncomfortable because the lock pinched and scraped me. Covering the lock in rubber might help slightly, but it doesn’t change much; I can still escape from the small 1-3/8” inner diameter scrotum ring despite the lock. Passing the penis through this ring worsens blood supply when erect and adds no security when soft. Plus, since I can orgasm without an upward-pointing erection, there’s little benefit beyond cosmetics and handing over a key—the comfort loss isn’t worth it.
At this point, here is what holds true:
- It effectively stops orgasm.
- Allows high arousal levels, just not spasms.
- 100% invisible under any clothing.
- Comfortable to wear.
- Hygienic.
- Affordable.
- Permits full mobility and athletic activity.
- Difficult enough to remove and re-install that it becomes a significant task.
- Impossible to slip off when aroused or semi-erect.
Unexpected bonus: It allows sufficient hardness for penetration while confining the penis enough to avoid orgasm. Another double bonus: multiple rings under a condom act like stimulating bumps, similar to ribbed condoms but benefiting both partners. Airport security is also fine—a nice extra feature not originally planned.
I could see myself wearing this indefinitely without removal, exactly as desired. That incentive alone keeps it on even without a lock. Taking five minutes and lacking arousal makes successful removal hard, ensuring it stays put during lovemaking—especially if my predictions about her increased stimulation are correct.
So I’ve basically created a method to stave off orgasm indefinitely in a safe, discrete way that never needs removing, with only my partner needing to know. Exactly what I wanted.
I need some healing time now, but the chafing was manageable, so it should resolve in a couple of days. Meanwhile, I’ll experiment with placing rings closer to the base to determine optimal sizing and finalize the combination. My guess is:
- 2 x 1”
- 2 x 1-1/6”
- 3 x 1-8”
- 4 x 1-3/16” (note: this matches the inner diameter of my previous birdlocked mini)
I might adjust the count of smaller rings to balance orgasm potential with morning comfort, or perhaps just remove them then. We shall see.
