Now you can get knock-offs and other solid options that are much cheaper, often under $25. There’s one stainless steel model I’m fond of; it lets me wear it longer than usual, around two weeks (or even more), so I don’t have to take it off just for cleaning. It’s a tiny metal piece with a ball separator that really improves its aesthetic and comfort in my opinion. Because it’s so small, it doesn’t look too obvious when worn, keeping the groin area flat without much bulge. The built-in lock means no more clanking around from an external one. I might be boasting a little here because this tiny cage is only about 2 inches long total (ring and cage combined), with just 1.5” for the actual cage part. Despite my doubts, it fit me well when I was mostly flaccid. Getting aroused or trying to get hard—whether on purpose or naturally—is quite noticeable and feels snug but not painful. The design is open enough that cleaning isn’t a hassle even without removing it. As far as I know, since this one uses a captive ball system like many others, you could probably slip out of most similar devices if you pull gently over time. However, doing so kind of misses the point because its main job is acting more as a reminder than an absolute barrier. You can still enjoy stimulation while wearing it—using your hand or even a vibrator—to reach orgasm, though that also somewhat undermines the device’s goal.
