Difficulties with wearing a device? discussion

I woke up early this morning to that slowly familiar feeling of a vice-like grip squeezing my testicles. It compelled me out of bed and into the bathroom for both urination and desperately applying lubricant underneath and around my cage’s A ring. Typically, handling these two tasks restores comfort to my HT.. but today the overly tight hold on my balls just won’t release.. Is this normal for “longer term” usage? Or might I need to request the key back quite soon?
