All my searching has pointed me toward the Steelworxx Looker 02. It seems hygiene shouldn’t be too big an issue with long-term wear because of its open design; in the shower, I can pull more foreskin back to clean underneath it—a thing not possible with the HTv2. I like the security provided by the penis plug concept. However, I also appreciate being able to screw on a cap to limit leaking at times, as others have done.
My questions are: Is A-ring sizing similar to the HTv2? I’ve seen in several places that some recommend going down a few mm from plastic rings like the HT when switching to steel. Currently, my HTv2 has a 45mm A-ring; when totally flaccid, I can fit two fingers halfway through between my balls and the ring. When erect, however, it gets tight. That said, I can still wear it for days without breaks and not get too sore. I’m guessing 42mm might be a good size for the Looker 02?
As for the penis ring, I assume I’d need to go with the 35mm option since 30mm might be too small. The HTv2 small has an internal diameter of 34mm and fits quite well with just a tiny gap on the sides. With the addition of the penis plug, this would likely expand slightly to accommodate 35mm?
I’ve seen people mention balls slipping through. The CB6000 series has an 8mm gap between the penis ring and A-ring; the Looker 02 default is 12mm, so I was thinking of asking them to adjust it to 10mm. Doing this would extend the penis plug another 2mm past the a-ring for a total of 12mm beyond it, which seems reasonable.
For total length, I’m considering 50mm from the a-ring to the end of the cage. While I measure about 6-6.5” erect, my flaccid size is around 2.25-2.75in, though very soft and able to be pressed almost flat against my body. 50mm would be approximately 1.96”, minimizing my ability to slide back and forth on the plug for pleasure if my flaccid cock happens to be shorter on a given day.
I’m also attaching a pic of my locked cock for anyone interested, just to show fitment. It usually stays slightly enlarged in the HTv2, which is another motivation for getting the smaller Looker 02 to keep it in check.
