Last week I kept my birdlocked locked in place for five days straight without any release. Naturally, I showered daily and used the jet shower to rinse out the device as well as possible each day. With a CB6000, one could use a sponge cleaning swap, but that doesn’t fit inside the birdlocked, so I did my best. Well, yesterday I had to take the device off because my foreskin started swelling - and I am not circumcised. 24 hours later, the swelling hasn’t subsided and it looks like an infection has set in, likely due to being unable to clean myself as effectively as I could with the CB6000. I haven’t had this problem before while using the CB range. So here is just a warning: if you plan on long-term lock up with a birdlocked, especially if you are uncut, pay close attention to hygiene. I would suggest removing the device for cleaning every day.
