I’ve been exploring security options to replace the PA cable, which I personally find troublesome, particularly as an uncircumcised man.
My proposed alternative is using the KSD-2. It doesn’t seem like it would completely prevent pull-out on its own, but for those with a PA piercing, I believe this could be the ideal solution.
By combining the KSD-2 with a large diameter PA ring, pull-out might become nearly impossible.
The largest internal diameter among KDS models is 27mm for men with a flaccid penis measuring 1.5 inches. If you choose the largest Ball closer ring for your PA (22mm), it makes pull-out difficult, or at least re-insertion without your [key] holder noticing becomes impossible.
Considering both the 22mm ring and the extra 1mm added by the ball, along with the KSD’s internal diameter, this combination effectively prevents pull-out.
The other included KDS models have internal diameters of 25mm and 23mm respectively.
I’ve worn a 22mm PA ring for just over three months without any issues regarding my foreskin. Even when using my CB2000, the large diameter ring causes no discomfort.
It hasn’t been formally tested yet, but I’ll be buying a KDS-2 to try it out soon.
