I had a quick release during the night since she really wanted it.
The following morning, when she secured me in place again, I fitted the metal cage and she inserted the built-in lock before heading off to work together.
A few hours later, on my first trip to the bathroom, I was shocked to discover that my device had come undone at the slightest touch. After looking closer, the base ring felt tight enough, but the cage itself fell apart because it wasn’t secured properly—the key was missing.
Oh no. I checked underpants and floor around me then traced back steps toward desk and car… hmm? Where did that key go?
Not wanting anything slipping down my leg unexpectedly, I tucked it safely inside bag waiting till getting home tonight reporting issue - nothing much could be done anyway really though…
Then she looked into this matter herself; upon returning from hiding spot there was still attached end of chain where previously had been placed correctly but forgotten turning enough for engagement thus allowing combination slide back out unnoticed by either party.
I recall hearing late dad say something along lines like ‘There’s never quite enough time to do things right but always just about plenty more time redoing them.’
