I took the device off while on vacation, which turned out to be a good thing since several tourist spots had metal detectors. My partner looked at me in line at the first one and whispered (keeping it quiet so the kids wouldn’t hear) “it’s just as well you’re not locked”, a thought I kept coming back to afterwards. Does anyone have a solid excuse they use with bored operators? I’ve considered claiming I have a medical device.
