Taking Breaks From the Game?

We’ve been enjoying this fantastic game for over three years now. We’re currently in the middle of a very busy six weeks involving trips to Europe, family get-togethers, and several birthdays. She suggested we take a pause, and I’m hardly one to argue! I’m just wondering if anyone else has taken extended breaks like ours? If so, how do you handle it—do you follow specific rules or is everything open-ended? For context, we operate on an honor system. The longest stretch I’ve had was 63 days, but typically it’s four to six weeks since that’s the maximum time she can go without what she calls “the ultimate act of love.”
