To start with, if you want the backstory on how we ended up using this device, please read Lori’s #15 review first.
That said, I wanted to inform anyone thinking about a steel option that this one definitely demands attention. We took great care—really careful—in our initial measurements because my wife and I were at our wits’ end with buying things, resizing them, and then resizing again. I initially ordered the device and sent the details to Ms. Lori. She emailed my wife saying it would look a bit different from the photos because of the extra sizing on the ring around the base of the penis. Afraid we might have erred, we measured again and submitted new numbers (our first mistake).
My initial worry was about those four small studs or spikes on the ring at the penile base. This feature adds significant security for non-pierced users. I had been told the spikes were dull and roughly 3/16 of an inch long. That’s fine, but you add that length twice (once for each side of the shaft), which reduces the inner diameter by about 3/8 of an inch. If we had kept our original measurements, I believe it would have been okay.
Once the device arrived, I immediately noticed the benefit of the recessed lock. It looks much smoother and cleaner. Because it uses a special screw and locking mechanism, we ordered a second kit that included an extra key and screw. Unfortunately, for some reason, we only received the key, not the screw.
Fitting was quite simple using the stocking method; I had the device on within minutes. There is definitely more weight to get used to since it’s solid stainless steel. The first issue arose during my very first erection. The ring at the base of the penis, which I already considered small, caused so much pain that walking became difficult for me. Some might like this spike sensation, but for us, it was a bit too much, leaving two small bruises on the upper part of the penile base. We sent the device back to Lori and asked her to remove just the top two studs, keeping two smaller ones at the bottom since they didn’t seem problematic. Although she offered to make them smaller, our Goddess had grown weary from sending these devices back and forth for a total of six months now.
Now that it’s returned, we still lack the extra screw, but the device is nearly perfect—perfect enough for my Goddess anyway. There is no escaping now because those bottom studs prevent pulling out, which matters during playtime. Due to the ring’s design at the penile base, once you start to get erect, blood flow is only marginally possible, stopping a full erection. We allowed about an extra 3/8 of an inch in the cage length since I am definitely a grower; this provides just enough room so the device doesn’t pull too hard on the scrotum. What happens now when you start to get erect is sheer frustration rather than sharp pain. As mentioned, adjusting with correct measurements and using all four studs/spikes can help. If you want complete erection control and denial, leave the studs in place and measure correctly—it grabs your attention quickly. My Goddess enjoys seeing me frustrated, so we have a good fit for now. The downside is that if she decides to let me out after teasing me, it takes some time to get everything back to a state where she can remove the device. Of course, you must be 100% flaccid with the lock removed.
Other advantages of this device are its open design and stainless steel construction. Hygiene is easy despite being a concern; no special tools are needed for cleaning. Honestly, after wearing it for three days, I only used lubrication once. Because the cage bars are open, my Goddess can use her tongue or whatever else she likes to tease me thoroughly. I wondered if its openness meant I could relieve myself internally by pushing something in, but due to the correct measurements of both the cage and the base ring, I see no way around it. As soon as a partial erection occurs, everything is tightly confined, leaving no room to complete that task.
In conclusion, I recommend this device for these reasons:
- Stainless steel; easy to clean
- Fast turnaround time: 14 days, not over three months
- Little to no chance of escape (none with correct measurements)
Cons to consider:
- Slightly heavier than most CB devices. This is easily offset by wearing proper briefs like those from .
- The recessed security lock includes only one key. Get an extra if you tend to lose things; cutting it off would be a miracle!
Hopefully, this review helps. If I missed anything, just ask and I’ll try to answer.
