I guess I could create separate posts for different questions, but first I want to greet everyone and thank you all for providing such a helpful resource.
I suppose I deserve some criticism for how my journey began. To shorten the tale: my wife is quite standard, and I’ve felt that something needed to shift in our dynamic. She will humor me occasionally with simpler requests, but it feels like effort on her part, and I worry about pestering her too much. This has resulted in less pestering and more times where I handle things myself.
My hope is that she harbors some closeted desires she hasn’t shared; sometimes I think I catch a glimpse of them, though she never admits it, and nothing happens. Anyway, feeling like we were drifting apart, I decided to try out a chastity device. Since I know she dislikes watching me masturbate, perhaps she’ll appreciate seeing me fawn over her like an eager teenager after a few days in the cage.
I directly asked her to buy me the CB6000 for my birthday, with the premise being weekend fun to see if we both enjoy it.
To my surprise, she did. In addition to general comments, I do have a question: I think the tube on the 6000 is too tight for me. It’s an evil task to get into and requires lots of lubrication; pretty much anytime I examine myself, I see that I’m pushing out against the ventilation holes. I plan to try covering them with tape tomorrow (we don’t wear it to bed), but I was wondering how to properly measure for a device. I’m not ready for any piercing, and maybe never will be.

The ring ID would match the CB6000 ring I’m using.

For the tube ID, do I just wrap a tape around myself when flaccid and use that measurement? Do you add a small amount, say 1/8”? Or should it fit tightly like the CB6000?

I think I can get a good length by measuring from the back of the CB600 ring to the end of my penis and adding perhaps 1/2”.
I’ve seen many recommendations for Lucy Fairbourne’s keyholds guide; would it be appropriate for someone who is pretty vanilla?
