Chastity and orgasm denial discussion

Hello there, I’ve been lurking and have a question. I recently started my long-term chastity journey and had a worry come up. When I give my wife a tight hug, she can definitely feel the firmness of my device (currently wearing Mature Metal’s Jailbird). Hugging others will happen soon enough, whether it’s family or female friends. I haven’t really noticed how tightly I’ve been hugging everyone else before, but I’m concerned that if I squeeze too hard, they might sense something solid and either guess I’m aroused or think something is wrong. Do you have any tips to lower the likelihood of them feeling it? The ideas I can come up with are trying to hug using just my upper body (which won’t work if they’re in a mood for a full embrace), or slightly turning my torso so one leg moves forward toward the person, making it more likely their chest hits my leg rather than the device. I would appreciate any replies. Thanks.
