I feel a bit let down by what I consider an excessive focus on chastity devices.
For me (and likely for many others here, though not everyone), the core kink revolves around controlling orgasms and handing that control over to someone else. You don’t need any gadget at all; it’s simply about honesty and having enough willpower (sometimes a great deal of willpower). A device can certainly help make this easier and offer accountability, but it isn’t mandatory.
It seems we get so caught up in finding the perfect fit that we might miss the real objective: the excitement of giving someone else control over your orgasms. There are perks to wearing a device, but honestly, the person in chastity desires their orgasms to be controlled and rationed, enjoys the sexual tension, and shouldn’t deprive themselves of it. Having some kind of device for moments when willpower wanes is sensible, but insisting on 24/7 wear long-term isn’t a must.
The main point is that we should focus less on building a mini-prison to escape from and more on the fact that you’ve given up your choice over when, where, and how you orgasm. Realizing this was what you wanted originally is key. Cheating in this context should make you question why you started at all.
That said, I do own both a CB3000 and a Lori Tube, which see occasional use and can handle 24/7 wear, but I find that constant wearing to be cumbersome, useful mainly during moments of weakness. -simianFlux
