As I mentioned in my introductory post, I’m new to the world of male chastity (specifically a six-month duration) and really like the concept of my wife managing my sexual life. She keeps me attentive to her needs and releases me only on her terms, without that guilt-trip pressure often felt when trying to please.
I’ve brought it up with her several times, sent links via text about blogs and a complimentary Audible version of Lucy Fairebourn’s book Male Chastity, but I suspect she hasn’t dug into them yet. She might be worried that the practice involves extreme kinks like whips, chains, and pain.
So, while taking it slow, I want to get comfortable with the routine by buying a cage and testing out this new identity I’m eager for.
Here are my personal thoughts and questions for you all:
The ball sack pinch during night erections is real: Initially, I worried the cage was too short. (See link below). My flaccid length is 3” and erect is 6”. During an erection, the base pulls my testicles away, stretching and pinching the skin. It turns out this is normal, and applying coconut oil to that area helps significantly with the pinch.
My penis can still get hard while caged: I had fantasized that a cage would physically stop my penis from growing erect, but like others have noted, it seems to just grow upward into your pelvic bone. This makes erections uncomfortable. Would a longer cage help prevent them entirely or just reduce how much the erection extends backward between the cage base and pubic bone?
Which style do keyholders prefer: metal or plastic? My wife and I have been experimenting with penis sleeves, and she mentioned liking the clear ones because you can see me, rather than a flesh-colored sleeve. So perhaps I’m answering my own question there.
Regarding the urethral insert: Mine came with one, which is very comfortable and stimulating; during an erection, I feel it pulsating against my penis, which might lead me to try sounding later. However, I chose this device primarily for standing urination. The issue is that the insert’s diameter isn’t quite wide enough to channel the whole stream through it. This results in a clean main flow but also some messy gushing around it. Does anyone have a fix? Is simply getting a larger insert the answer?
