daily life interrupts once more

Hello everyone, First off, I want to thank all of you for the helpful advice in my previous thread where I discussed things with my wife. It was really nice of you to share your insights. Here is what has been going on: everything seemed to converge at the end of summer. My job situation shifted, hers got more hectic, the kids were adjusting back to school routines, friends wanted to get together now that I am around again, and I had a craving for fishing. Because of this, there was no talk about chastity or kink, and no related activities happening either. The regular sex has been abundant and pleasant, though. I just needed things to calm down before raising the topic once more. Today, I reached my breaking point; I felt compelled to discuss it. You see, she wanted to use my computer last week, but I told her to give me a moment because I had some browsing history to clear…;) She is fine with it and knows about it, but I didn’t want her looking at the screen thinking that I am obsessed only with kinky stuff and chastity. So I deleted it, but later felt guilty and wanted to explain why I was shy about letting her see. I had been putting off this explanation for a few days. Today, after the kids returned to school, we finally spoke. I told her that while I know she is aware and doesn’t mind what I am into, I still didn’t want her feeling overwhelmed when she noticed 5 of my Google bookmarks along with my history were related to chastity since we had somewhat paused that discussion, leaving her on the “not super interested” side. She understood, mentioned that our conversation isn’t finished but things need to return to normalcy. That works for me. Then I shared news about my HTv2. The reaction was mostly positive, but she didn’t want to look at it first thing in the morning (we were both heading out). Now it is completely open and visible. I dislike keeping secrets. Whatever unfolds, unfolds. All I can hope for now is a little interest tonight or tomorrow, taking small steps from there. Thanks for reading; I needed to share this.
