I’m currently drafting a blog post on this topic (it turned out to be quite detailed, haha!) but I also wanted to gather some thoughts here. Sure, comments on the blog would be great, but that’s fine too:)
So, when everyday life interferes and we get caught up in work, school, and constant travel between places, we often drift apart if we don’t carve out time for each other. We need those moments to flirt, cuddle, or simply exist together without distraction. Instead, we’re just passing by one another throughout the day, missing out on the attention we really crave.
I’ve realized what I’m lacking amidst all this activity and disconnection, and I’m curious if your partners (wives, girlfriends, Keyholders—whatever you call them) have ever stepped up to take more control in similar situations. Have they taken charge to demonstrate what they need from you with clear, direct instructions?
Basically, my question is: how do you recover from this? Is it YOU who re-centers yourself, or does your KH push you to redirect your focus and energy?
