I’m just starting out here and wanted to share a thought. I recently picked up a BON4, and alongside standard water-based lubricant, they suggested using olive oil so far, it seems like an excellent pick. Previously, whenever my Astroglide (a common water-based lube) dried off, I always noticed it got tacky or sticky. That stickiness isn’t happening with the olive oil. They are right about avoiding other types of oils—my guess is that mineral or silicone varieties might harm the BON4’s silicone—but they say olive oil is safe too. Plus, even though I haven’t verified prices yet, I have a feeling it costs less.
