We are still essentially “weekend warriors” regarding our chastity device. I usually get locked in on Friday evening, and by Sunday morning my freedom is granted along with some kind of release. More often than not, I wake up both mornings mostly erect. However, since the internal diameter of the Curve is smaller than the external width of my largely hard penis, it seems that blood flow isn’t quite sufficient to maintain an erection properly.
Given this, here is my question: Could there be a risk of tissue damage due to limited blood flow? I haven’t seen any color changes. There isn’t much “pain,” but the discomfort is noticeable enough that I worry about the well-being of my testicles. A few years back, when my wife and I were more involved in CBT, I read somewhere that it might not be good for health to keep a penis from achieving full erection, though I can’t find that article now.
I also recall reading a question on or posed by someone who seems to be a regular contributor here. The doctor didn’t really focus heavily on tissue/nerve damage in their answer, mostly noting that without usage, atrophy sets in like any other muscle.
Since many of you wear your devices around the clock for weeks, has anyone dealt with neurological side effects or even unexpected issues resulting from restricting an erection?
If you’ve read this far, thank you. I’m eager to hear what you have to say. If this topic has already been beaten like a bad sissy maid, my apologies; please share the relevant link.
