This marks my fourth try at observing Lent (spanning from Valentine’s Day through Easter) without an orgasm. My previous best was 28 days, so the prospect of lasting 41 feels daunting. Being only on day two also makes me a bit cautious. However, I’ve been ill for the past couple of weeks, so the challenge hasn’t fully set in yet. Once I recover, I’m sure it will truly kick in and leave me desperate. Or perhaps I have finally accepted that success is possible and this might be the time it happens.
My girlfriend had denied me for a week before granting one ruined orgasm on Saturday followed by a full release also on Saturday. On Sunday, I allowed myself another right before midnight to clear things out, as I hadn’t gotten many chances in recent weeks.
Is anyone else abstaining this Lent? Do you have any advice besides staying busy? Since I live alone, the downtime can be tough. But I have hobbies and activities to keep me distracted most days.
